Terms of use
Slipmint is in development. These short beta terms apply to anyone given access to the API or using this website. They'll be replaced by full terms before paid plans launch.
1. Beta service, no SLA
The service is experimental and may change, break or be discontinued at any time without notice. There's no service-level agreement, and no uptime, availability or support commitment.
2. No warranty
The service and the documents it produces are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of generated documents (for example totals, taxes or legal wording), and non-infringement. You're responsible for checking documents before you rely on or send them.
3. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months, which during the beta is $0.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Slipmint to:
- create fraudulent, deceptive or phishing documents, including invoices or receipts for transactions that didn't happen;
- process content that is illegal or that infringes others' rights;
- probe, scan or reach internal networks or cloud metadata services, or otherwise attack the service or its providers;
- overload the service, get around quotas, or share or resell API keys.
Keys may be suspended or revoked at any time, including for suspected abuse.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you send. You grant only the permission needed to process it and return the PDF. You confirm you have the right to process any personal data it contains.
6. Data handling
See the privacy policy. In short, documents are processed transiently and not retained.
7. Pricing
No payments are taken during the beta. The pricing shown on the site is planned and may change before launch.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
